Dear Diego, Congratulations on setting up your Italian School in Venice! I think that you have come up with a great idea teaching Italian and mixing it with a cultural experience of this wonderful city. I was truly inspired with the way you structured the classes to make them interesting, engaging and fun. I can confidently say that my Italian has improved ten times over… And I owe this to you and the wonderfully diverse classes we had.

'Small is beautiful' is a dictum I subscribe to. as we discussed in these days, when everything is becoming increasingly impersonal, teaching still affords the opportunity for meaningful and fruitful interaction between people, especially in the peaceful surroundings of your lovely house.
I will always remember this experience with great fondness. It suited me perfectly to spend the mornings in your company. I appreciate all the time and effort you expended preparing well-judged material which really helped me to consolidate my knowledge of Italian.
