Special offer - Study with friends!
We encourage international and Erasmus students to study with friends to better experience the personalised, first-class learning at the Venice Italian School.
We offer special discounts: 2 students enrolling together will be entitled to a 10% discount on our normal fees; a small group (3+) will be entitled to a 15% discount on our normal fees.
How we teach
We use a Communicative Approach to encourage students to put immediately into useful practice the topics covered in class. This enables them to be constantly motivated to speak Italian as much as possible.
Engagement, interaction and communication are fundamental to learn a language. Different from the vast majority of language schools – with classes often up to 20 students of different levels barely being able to say a word – we have a "small group policy" which enables us to keep an outstanding degree of personalised attention, allowing teachers to deal with the needs of each student and ensuring an animated and productive learning atmosphere.
Special Lessons Outside of classroom
We also offer Cultural and Special Classes specifically designed to allow students to improve their Italian in the fields they like the most while discovering more about Venice and Italy. Cultural classes include: Art of Venice, History of Venice, Italian Politics & Current Affairs and Italian Opera; Special classes include Mamma's Cooking Lessons, Wine Tasting and – a favourite – Gondola Rowing Lessons!
End of the course certificate
At the end our courses students receive a Certificate of Attendance with the number of hours taken and the level of language achieved.
