WEEK PLAN - PIANO DELLA SETTIMANA

Group Classes: Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 1pm

Winners will enjoy a full week of Italian Classes in the morning, from 9.30am to 1 pm. According to their level, they will join a small group of fellow learners. Lessons at the Venice Italian School are taught with the Communicative Method, encouraging students to put immediately into useful practice the topics covered in class. That is why our lessons are characterised by plenty of speaking practice and exercises. Classes are always enhanced with practical activities such as games, role plays and outside the classroom activities, encouraging students to practice their language directly with the teachers, amongst them and with the locals.

Special Lessons: Monday to Friday, 4.30 – 6pm

Winners can choose two amongst our wide range of special lessons including: Art of Venice, History of Venice, Italian Contemporary Affairs, Italian Opera, Gondola Lesson - a favourite -, Mama's Cooking and Wine Tasting Tour of the wines from the Veneto region.
These lessons are carefully designed to offer learners a chance to practice their Italian in real-life situation and in the field they like the most. This often involves talking to local people, learning and using a specific vocabulary, while at the same time discovering more about Venice "off the beaten track".

Please note: the schedule may be subject to small modifications, depending on the number and levels of students in the school at the time.
