Sixteen years of VIS – and a very good reason to celebrate. From November 9–13 we invite you to five days of Italian, Venice, food and conversation: Mini Group lessons every morning, a special programme every afternoon, and La Grande Festa on Friday.
Sixteen years of VIS
VIS Birthday Week | November 9–13, 2026
Sixteen years ago, Diego and Lucia opened the Venice Italian School. Since then, thousands of conversations have taken place in our classrooms, countless aperitivi have been shared, friendships have started at Campo San Stin – and students from all over the world have become part of VIS.
That feels like a very good reason to celebrate.
From November 9–13, we invite you to join us for our VIS Birthday Week: five days of Italian, Venice, food, conversation and time together.
If you have studied with us before, come back and celebrate with us. If VIS is still new to you, come and find out what we are all about.
The programme

With the Full Birthday Week Package, the day continues beyond the classroom. Every afternoon or evening brings another side of Venice – and another opportunity to spend time together.
Monday–Friday, November 9–13 · 9:30–13:00
Mini Group Courses, all levels
During the mornings, you join our regular Mini Group Courses at Campo San Stin. The personal setting means plenty of conversation, individual attention and time to get to know your teacher and the other students in your group.
